  • —Turkish citizens need a visa for the Schengen Area.
  • —For a US E-2 visa, citizens by investment must first have been domiciled in Turkey for a continuous 3 years.
  • —In August 2026 Turkey cancelled more than 6,000 citizenships granted through this programme, mainly over sham sales and inflated valuations. The purchase must be genuine and correctly valued.
